Wow! what a difference! It's like driving a different car... Get these springs front and rear before you do anything else, except for maybe getting a safe roll cage. I can't believe how badly out the Yamaha springs were. The stock rear springs are harsh and jerky feeling over small rough stuff, and spine compressingly too hard on big hits (like woops or landing a jump to flat). The stock fronts are even worse, bottoming out on the face of jumps, causing exaggerated nose down action. I have so much more control now. And haven't tweaked my back since changing. 1. Nose down jumping solved. 2. Outside rear wheel isn't 'jacking' on hard turns lifting the inside rear wheel. 3. Feels like powder snow over rough stuff. 4. Huge improvement in my level of control. 5. My front teeth get sore now from smiling like a little kid in the cold. I don't remember the last time i behaved like a little kid. Jacking explained: The stock rear is so high that the lower control arms point down quite a lot too much. On hard turns the outside wants to tuck under. Which means aside from being close to tipping, the outside rear suspension pretty much isn't working. The new springs drop the rear down and flatten the control arm angle a bit. Stopping this behavior.
